LC high viscosity Roots pump is a type of positive displacement pump specifically designed for transporting high viscosity liquids.

It belongs to the Roots oil pump series and is commonly used in the petroleum, chemical, and food industries.

It solves the problem of ordinary pumps being difficult to transport viscous media such as asphalt and sugar through low-speed and high flow design

This pump has a wide range of applications, mainly for transporting liquids with high viscosity and poor fluidity

Petroleum and chemical industries: including crude oil, heavy oil, coal tar, asphalt, lubricants, paints, glass adhesives, etc.

Food processing: can transport viscous liquids such as soy sauce, yeast, syrup, honey, chocolate sauce, jam, etc.

Other industrial liquids: such as toothpaste, fatty acids, light alkaline liquids (soap processing), etc.

Special working conditions: Some models (such as LCW type) add insulation layer outside the pump casing, using steam or thermal oil circulation insulation, specifically designed to prevent asphalt and condensate from solidifying during transportation.

Features

Low speed operation: The speed of belt transmission is usually fixed at around 400 revolutions per minute, while the speed of gear reducer drive is adjustable.

Low speed helps reduce wear and adapt to high viscosity media.

There are various forms of driving: belt drive and gear reducer drive, and users can choose according to the on-site conditions.

Strong self-priming ability: It can be started without the need for oil injection, and the self-priming height can usually reach 5-6 meters, making it convenient for loading and unloading oil tankers and tankers.

Can work in both forward and reverse directions: The pump supports forward and reverse rotation, making it flexible to operate and easy to clean and maintain pipelines.

Sealing design: The shaft is equipped with skeleton oil resistant seals at both ends, and a return oil device is installed in the middle to prevent air intake or oil leakage.

Rotor structure: In the early days, it was mostly a two bladed rotor, and some improved models (such as SLC type) used three or four bladed rotors to increase pump shaft rigidity, reduce medium pulsation and vibration Flow rate: 10-100m3/h, Pressure: 0.6MPA, 1.5MPA
