Parker reduces lead times on main air driven liquid pumps ranges

Parker Autoclave Engineers is now able to offer customers a significant reduction in lead times for its most widely specified air driven liquid pump products.

This has been made possible as Parker Autoclave Engineers’ air driven liquid pumps will now be manufactured in Wexford in Ireland at one of the company’s Instrumentation Products Division Europe (IPDE) locations.

Franck Grignola, Product Manager – Parker Autoclave Engineers, said: “This is a very exciting development, as our air driven liquid pumps are much in demand in Europe. Manufacturing them closer to our major market will bring many benefits to our new and existing customers.”

Parker Autoclave Engineers’ air driven liquid pumps are widely used across industry for a variety of high pressure applications. They provide cost-effective and energy saving benefits for many applications including chemical, oil and gas, industrial and research sectors.

Air driven liquid pumps that will now be available with shorter lead times include the ACHL, ACL and ASL ranges.

Parker Autoclave Engineers’ ACHL Series is a compact 3” (hand lever) air driven liquid pump that delivers high pressure hydraulic power in a mobile, easy to use package. The high strength, stainless steel pump pressure heads are specifically designed and engineered for a long cycle life. These pumps feature extended service check valves and anodized aluminium parts for better protection from harsh environments.

Also a compact 3” air-driven high pressure liquid pump is Parker Autoclave Engineers’ ACL Series. At only 8 ½” tall, this liquid pump is a single piston air driven pump that operates at an air to pressure ratio of 1:220. It operates in an air drive pressure range of 15-150 psi and has the option of an isolation chamber to protect air drive section from high pressure leakage.

The third type to be manufactured in Ireland and now on shorter lead times is Parker Autoclave Engineers’ ASL Series, a standard 6” piston, air driven liquid pump. This compact, air-operated liquid pump provides an air to liquid pressure ratio of 1:11. This pump is manufactured from hardened stainless steel and operates to a maximum outlet pressure of 1,600 psi.

Using the knowledge developed over the last 70 years, Parker Autoclave Engineers’ Packaged Pressure Systems have been developed to incorporate its Air-Driven, High Pressure Liquid pumps, valves and fittings into a wide range of self-contained portable, or custom framed modules that "plug and play" for virtually any test, control, or injection system. They vary in size, flow capability, output pressure and can include optional features such as chart recording, data logging, cycle counters, injection controllers and almost any kind of electric or pneumatic valve control option.

Parker Autoclave Engineers’ air driven liquid pumps are highly efficient to operate and provide cost-efficiency and energy saving benefits. These pumps have been developed to be ‘plug and play’ for virtually any test, control or injection system. Extremely flexible, the air driven liquid pumps are available in a wide range of sizes, flow capabilities, output pressures and with optional features, such as chart recording, data logging, cycle counters, injection controllers and almost any kind of electric or pneumatic valve control option.

Parker Autoclave Engineers has extensive experience in manufacturing air driven high pressure liquid pumps, valves and fittings for a wide range of markets. The company offers a comprehensive range of products, with a wide choice of sizes, flow capabilities, output pressures and additional features. The company’s products are used in a variety of different industries and applications, including hydrostatic/burst/leak, chemical injection, valve/gauge/hose testing, bolt tensioning, hydraulic control systems, laboratory research and autofrettage systems.

Parker Autoclave Engineers combines high pressure industry knowledge, manufacturing expertise, and technological innovation to offer a broad range of products and services to customers across a wide range of industries. This includes low pressure instrumentation products from 15,000 psi to air driven liquid pumps and packaged systems up to 60,000 psi.
